It is our privelege to invite you to view a snapshot of the life of the Anglican Church in Havelock North and Elsthorpe.
You will notice various events that meet the needs of various sectors of our community.
If you are coming to Havelock North on holiday, or are moving here then please make yourself
known to us - as you are an important part of our community.
We are a community of faith which is driven by Christ's commission to reach out and have a focussed mission agenda through fund raising for our various mission partners and supporting various projects both locally and internationallly.
We have a keen pastoral team led by our Vicar and should you know of anyone in particular need of pastoral care please do not hesistate to get in contact.
If we can leave you with a lasting impression of your visit to this site and to our Church it is simpy this;

God is love, God made you to be love and sustains you in love

Our Vision:

"Church is not a building, but it is people with a calling, an invitation to be part of a Christian community dedicated to a hope and future driven by a Godly vision of the peace of Christ.”

At St Luke's we like to think of ourselves as a living and lively church rooted but not stuck in the richness of our Anglican tradition.

Located in the heart of Havelock North Village in New Zealand's Hawke's Bay, St Luke's provides a gathering place for a  diverse community of faith. While we come from many different perspectives and traditions we work hard to welcome, respect, and celebrate these differences — gathering together to worship, discuss, question, and learn from one another. We're fellow seekers, and we nurture and strengthen an environment that supports spiritual growth.
