AAW Association of Anglican Women

The Aims of the Association

  • To unite in prayer and participate in the mission of the Church.
  • To promote, safeguard and nurture Christian family life.           

Evening Fellowship meets: At St Luke’s Lounge at 7.30pm every 2nd Wednesday of the month excluding January.

The monthly meetings usually include a speaker and have supper where there is an opportunity to chat and meet new people.

AAW takes an interest in areas of social concern and lobbies on its own behalf and through the National Council of Women NZ.

AAW is active in Overseas and Outreach and an Emergency fund assists in natural disaster relief. Member’s funds support mission partners in New Zealand and overseas.

Prayer Groups

Tuesday evening Fed by Bible and feeding of stomach: Would you like to spend a Tuesday evening sharing in fellowship with friends around the supper table and discussing the questions raised by 1 Corinthians? We are a small friendly group who usually meet at 15 Toop Street 7.30pm until 9pm.  Please contact Venetia on 8774718
